The war- firaasath Malige, First Year Economics

People's lives were debris,
The war left.
War debris were the Alms,
Deity they worshiped blessed them,
For they loved their almighty
A little too much.

Fear exploded like the American bomb,
Terror crept in their Sunny middle eastern lives,
Debris, dust and cries
Replaced briyani aroma and the laughter
Which they had.

War to quench
The Power Hungry,
The Intolerant,
The Racist,
the Inhumane....

American families crippled
For the sons returned were,
Even some never did.

And their leader's attempt
To fill those voids in hearts
By honorary medals.
Ha. Ha. Ha.
Such pity.

  1. The need today is for a culture of peace - among humans, and between humans and the rest of the planet.
